Massage types and regulations all over the worldMassage is practiced all over the world in different countries because of its positive effect on human body. But it is not so easy to become a massage therapist because you must have a certificate or have must experience and practice. Moreover there are numerous differences in different countries. For example, in South Korea only blind people or those who have problems with their eye-site can become professional masseurs. In India you will have to get a license at the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) which regulates this sphere. This is regulations were adopted in 1995. But, for example, New Zealand professional massage therapists are not registered. But there are 2 different levels such as Certified Massage Therapists and Remedial massage therapists. It means that they a competent in just one particular sphere of massage. In the USA there are approximately 300,000 licensed massage therapists who work according to the legislation of a particular state. To get a license a person must take a training program with a fixed number of hours and afterwards he or she gets a diploma or a certificate which gives them an opportunity to work as a licensed massage therapist. During the course of studies every future massage therapist studies such subjects which are required for their future work
